Company's officer considers terms and conditions of a policy

Muang Thai Insurance

Claim will be made to the insured or beneficiary (In case the case is covered by the policy)

Claim duration in case the Company receives complete and accurate documents

If the Company receives complete and accurate documents, claim duration takes around 15 days.

Claim procedures and documents for travel insurance

In case of loss of life
  1. Copy of autopsy certificate certified by the issuer
  2. Copy of death verification letter certified by the issuer
  3. Copy of death certificate certified by the issuer
  4. Copy of police daily report certified by the issuer
  5. Copy of the death person's house registration certified by the beneficiary
  6. Copy of the death person's ID card certified by the beneficiary
  7. Certified copy of the beneficiary's house registration
  8. Certified copy of the beneficiary's ID card
  9. Certified copy of book bank
  10. Copy of dissection report (if any)
  11. Copy of insurance card (if any)
  12. News pictures (if any)
Total permanent disability/ Dismemberment
  1. Medical certificate specifying causes of injury and lost organs
  2. Full-length picture and pictures of lost organ of a person who claims under this coverage
  3. X-ray result
  4. Copy of medical record
  5. Certified copy of ID card
  6. Certified copy of book bank
  7. Copy of insurance card (if any)
  8. News pictures (if any)
Medical Expense Reimbursement
  1. Original copy of medical certificate
  2. Original receipt
  3. Certified copy of ID card

Trip Cancellation
  1. Certified copy of passport
  2. Original copy of medical certificate (In case of accident or illness to the insured or relatives)
  3. Copy of death certificate (In case of loss of life of the insured or relatives)
  4. Document of flight cancellation issued by the carrier
  5. Compensation documents issued by the carrier (In case the carrier cancels the flight)
  6. Original receipt of deposit or booking deposit for the trip
  7. Certified copy of book bank
Trip Curtailment
  1. Certified copy of passport
  2. Original copy of medical certificate (In case of accident or illness to the insured or relatives)
  3. Copy of death certificate (In case of loss of life of the insured or relatives)
  4. Compensation documents issued by the carrier (In case the carrier cancels the flight)
  5. Original receipt of the deposit or booking fee for the trip

Hijacking
  1. Certified copy of passport
  2. Boarding pass
  3. Documents which specifies reasons and duration of hijacking issued by the airway or airport
  4. Compensation documents issued by the carrier (If any)

Travel Delay

  2. Documents for notice and confirmation the delay issued by the carrier
  3. Compensation documents issued by the carrier (In case of the carrier's engine breakdown)
  4. Receipt of the insured's expense paid during the delay

Missed flight
  1. Certified copy of passport
  2. Confirmation documents specifying causes of missed fight issued by an airline or airport
  3. Boarding pass

Loss of Baggage or damage baggage

  3. Confirmation document issued by the carrier or manager or owner of an accommodation
  4. Compensation documents issued by the manager or owner of an accommodation

Loss of money or personal belonging

Baggage Delay

Personal Liability

  2. Medical certificate (in case of injury)
  3. Receipt of medical treatment (in case of injury)
  4. Certified copy of ID card of the third party who is injured (In case of injury)
  5. Receipt of property repair/ receipt issued by the owner in case the insured have to buy the property from the owner
  6. Certified copy of book bank
Emergency Call
  1. Certified copy of passport
  2. Copy of police daily report certified by the issuer of local police station
  3. Documents of phone call expense
  4. Certified copy of book bank
Travel Document
  1. Certified copy of passport
  2. Copy of police daily report certified by the issuer of local police station
  3. Receipt of new document issuance expense
  4. Certified copy of book bank

Remark :

  • The Company has the rights to request more documents apart from what have been required for consideration.
  • Please furnish copy of the police daily report certified by the inquiry official and conclusion of the case to the Company for consideration in case of injury, dismemberment, total permanent disability or loss of life which are related to lawsuit (except traffic case).
