Instruction for reporting claim

accident with other parties

The insured shall report an accident at 1484 immediately. While the insured is waiting for Company's surveyor, please follow instruction below (if you can)

The insured car is the right party

  1. Note down the car license plate, name and address of the other party
  2. Note down name and address of the witness (if any)
  3. If the other party admits that it is his fault, the other party is required to write a note stating his fault. Then both parties shall move to the roadside waiting for Company's surveyor
  4. If the other party does not admit that it is his fault, both parties should wait for Company's surveyor to arrive or wait for a police to finish re-enactment
  5. Do not accept any compensation from the other party without consulting with Company's staff
  6. When the surveyor arrives an accident spot and finishes his duty, the surveyor will issue a claim note (list of damage) to the insured
  7. The insured can exercise the right by presenting the claim note at any contracted garages of the Company over 400 places nationwide.

Remark : In case the insured has type 2,3 motor insurance (such insurance provides only third party liability coverage) the Company might send the surveyor to help the insured. For follow-up and claim process, the insured has to proceed by himself.



Accident is the insured car's fault

  1. If the insured admits that the accident is his own fault, cars can be moved to shoulder of a road in order to avoid traffic congestion
  2. The insured should not sign any document for the other party and should wait for Company's surveyor to arrive and provide you advice
  3. When the surveyor arrives an accident spot and finishes his duty, the surveyor will issue a claim note (list of damage) to the insured
  4. The insured can exercise the right by presenting the claim note at any contracted garages of the Company over 400 places nationwide.

Remark : If the case is sent to the police for further investigation and the police decides that the accident is the insured car's fault caused by the diver's negligence, the Company will be responsible for civil compensation. If the bail is require for some cases, the Company will bail the driver out.



Neither of the parties admits the fault

  1. Do not move the insured car from accident spot (except ordered by the police)
  2. Note down the car license plate, name and address of the other party
  3. Note down name and address of the witness (if any)
  4. When the surveyor arrives an accident spot and finishes his duty, the surveyor will issue a claim note (list of damage) to the insured
  5. The insured can exercise the right by presenting the claim note at any contracted garages of the Company over 400 places nationwide.
Instruction – an accident without other party and the car is seriously damaged

The insured shall report an accident at 1484 immediately. Then the Company's surveyor will investigate the accident spot and provide car repair service

Instruction – an accident without other party and the car has minor damages

The insured shall report an accident at 1484. After accident notification, the insured shall follow one of the below instructions.

  1. The insured can exercise the right at any contracted garages of the Company over 400 places nationwide
  2. The insured can request the Company to sent a surveyor to meet at your convenient place to do an examination and issue a claim note
  3. The insured can drive a car to the Company's headquarter and branches to do an examination and issue a claim not
If the insured wish to use non-contractual garage

Contact the garage for cost estimation, then submit claim note and quotation to the Company to determine and set agreed cost before the repair. The insured may be required to make advance payment. Documents shall be submitted to the Company for reimbursement.

If the insured has only compulsory insurance

When an accident occurs and somebody injures

  1. Send the injured to nearby hospital
  2. The hospital can be authorized by the injured for disbursing medical expense from the Company
  3. To receive compensation, the injured must submit documents and notify the claim to the Company by himself, or the injured can authorize to medical institute/ hospital be a reprehensive to receive compensation
  4. Preliminary compensation will be paid within 7 days (documents must be complete and correct)
  5. Compensation (excess amount) will be receive within 15 days after claim submission (documents must be complete and correct)
  6. The injured who is a driver and at fault will receive only preliminary compensation

Repair cost of insured car (Reimbursement)
  1. Claim note
  2. Note of repair cost agreement
  3. Receipt/tax invoice
  4. Copy of car registration book
  5. Vehicle check-up is required
  6. Vehicle check-up is required In some cases, only pictures of the vehicle are required (before – during – after repair)
  7. Copy of account book
  8. Copy of ID card
  9. If the Company receives complete and correct documents, claim payment will be made within 15 days.
In case of reimbursement such as tow-truck fee, tire expense, etc.
  1. Receipt/tax invoice
  2. Picture of spare part (if any)
  3. Copy of account book

  5. Power of attorney (if the insured cannot conduct claim process by himself)
  6. If the claim closes and the Company receives complete and correct documents, claim payment will be made within 15 days.
Compensation to the other party or to the property damage
  1. Claim note
  2. Quotation of repair cost for damaged vehicle propFerty
  3. Copy of car registration book or certificate of ownership for damaged property
  4. Copy of account book
  5. Copy of ID card
  6. Power of attorney (if the insured cannot conduct claim process by himself)
  7. If the claim closes and the Company receives complete and correct documents, claim payment will be made within 15 days.
Injury
  1. Copy of insurance policy (for the insured's injury)
  2. Claim note (if any)
  3. Police daily report (if any)
  4. Receipt of medical treatment (original)
  5. Medical certificate
  6. Claim form
  7. Copy of ID card
  8. Copy of account book
  9. Power of attorney (if the insured cannot conduct claim process by himself)
  10. If the claim closes and the Company receives complete and correct documents, claim payment will be made within 15 days.
Death
  1. Copy of insurance policy (for the insured's death)
  2. Claim note (if any)
  3. Police daily report (if any)
  4. Copy of death certificate
  5. Copy of ID card and house registration of the deceased
  6. Receipt of medical treatment (if any)
  7. Information of the deceased such as occupation, income, etc.
  8. Documents representing oneself as the beneficiary/victim such as court order/appointment, Power of attorney from other beneficiaries/victims
  9. Copy of ID card and house registration of the beneficiary
  10. Power of attorney (if the beneficiary cannot conduct claim process by himself)
  11. If the claim closes and the Company receives complete and correct documents, claim payment will be made within 15 days.
