Madam Pang Foundation and Muang Thai Insurance continued expanding their help to COVID-19 patients in 5 districts around Bangkok.


On September 6, “Madam Pang” or Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam, President and Chief Executive Officer of MTI and the Chairman of Madam Pang Foundation, went to community Isolation at Rat Burana District to discuss about how to help COVID-19 patients in the second phase after she had been one of the founders of 4 care centers around Bangkok and such support was extended to Khlong Toei District in the first phrase. Atthisri Wuttiphakpakdee, Yuttana Phamai, Nantapong Kaewsri, Parus Arahatmanas and Piyathida Niyom, the Rat Burana Director and Phasi Charoen Director, Bueng Kum Director, Wang Thong Lang Director and Khlong Toei Director, participated in this discussion.

The second phase of this project was supported by Madam Pang Foundation and Muang Thai Insurance focusing on helping the patients in the 5 districts where there were many patients to be treated, namely Intrachai commercial college at Wang Thong Lang District, Sukum Navapan Uppatham School at Bueng Kum District, Srithai Superware at Rat Burana District, Kamphaeng (Bang Waek) Temple at Phasi Charoen Dqistrict, and Community COVID-19 Care Center at Khlong Toei District.

Muang Thai Insurance had provided for the care center in the 5 districts can be divided as follows:

  1. Provided COVID-19 insurance for the patients in the center. This insurance covers the case of being in coma from COVID-19 with sum insured of 100,000 THB for 6 months.
  2. Donated the medical supplies and equipment, such as X-ray machine was donated to Ratburana Municipality Office (The donation was collaborated with the Thai Real Estate Association and Yuanta Securities (Thailand) Company Limited), and 25 Oxygen concentrators in 5 liter size were donated to 5 care centers.
  3. Supported the emergency mobile unit for home isolation patients around the Bangkok area with 24-hours service via ‘Madam Pang Friend Club’ call center at 02-207979.

Madam Pang revealed that “Madam Pang Foundation has worked proactively and profoundly. The current COVID-19 situation is still serious. So, our plan must be continual and able to adapt with unexpected problems or situations that may occur in the future. Moreover, working together with the district offices and medical staffs from the beginning of the project made us feel like we are family. We are in the same boat. Thus, we need to figure out together on how to go through this crisis.
