Madam Pang Foundation together with Muang Thai Insurance sent 500 care packages to Khlong Toei COVID-19 Home Isolation patients and 20 provinces in Thailand.
Madam Pang Foundation with Muang Thai Insurance sent their care packages to 41 public health centers. Such packages were then delivered to COVID-19 patients. Kobkul Chantrakul, head of nursing and general administration department, was the representative receiving the packages and distributing them to the patients with the help of Kla Mai volunteers. 450 packages were distributed to Khlong Toei COVID-19 Home Isolation patients, and 50 packages to patients in 20 provinces such as Chiang Rai, Kalasin, Suphan Buri, Songkhla and etc. The total amount of this donation was 200,000 THB.
“Madam Pang” or Mrs. Nualphan Lamsam, President and Chief Executive Officer of MTI and the Chairman of Madam Pang Foundation, said “Many areas were affected by the COVID-19 crisis. For me, as a person who has worked closely with Khlong Toei people for 7 years, I would like to help them go through this crisis by sending them the care packages. In the package, we have carefully selected high quality items that will be necessary for the patients. Moreover, this care package was also supported by the private sector and the fund donated by Thai people. These truly demonstrated the kindness of our society.”
“The care package contained medicine, rice, egg, instant noodle, instant rice porridge, canned Mackerel in tomato sauce and other necessary things for the patient, such as thermometer, mask, hand sanitizer gel. Also, we have planned to continually help the society to overcome this crisis.” she added.
